Starting kindergarten is an important milestone in a child's life - one that is filled with excitement as well as anxiety (for both children and parents). Preparing children for what to expect and how to behave appropriately will help ease their concerns, paving the way for a fun year of relationship building and learning. What students learn now about school rules and respecting themselves and others will help them be successful in school and future endeavors. Objectives: 1. Explain the importance of using good manners and following the rules at school and on the bus 2. Discuss examples of polite manners to use on the bus, at school and with others 3.
